Post 95 Brake Lights not working -

alright i have been searching for some help here and i just can't seem to find the answer..

95 yj - 6cyl, 4.0l...

brake lights don't come on when pedal is pressed, all other lights work fine...bought it this way, guy said it was probably just the light switch since that happened to him before - he washed the inside and boom, lights went out again -n

replaced the brake light switch and checked the bulbs... they look fine, and doubt both went out at the same time...

1 - i don't' know exactly what fuses to check - but i swapped a few with my other 95, and no good

2 - is there a fuse panel behind the glove box that i heard about - or is that for newer jeeps

3 - your help is appreciated

thanks again for your help guys -

Try under the hood. I had this happen once and it was a bad fuse in the fuse box next to the battery
