95 Jeep fires up then dies immediately

Hi,
I am new to this site as I have just purchased my first Wrangler a 95 4cylinder 5speed manual with 126k miles on it. The Jeep has been sitting idle for a year and didnt start but is in decent shape. The frame had a lot of surface rust which cleaned up pretty good with a spray on product I got a the local paint store call The Must For Rust.
I then replaced the cam sensor and paid for a full service the Jeep ran great for about an hour. Now the Jeep will fire up and almost immediately the rev counter will drop to zero and stall the car. I then replaced the pick-up sensor and the Jeep started and ran for about 5 minutes and now we are back to square one. I have had 3 different mechanics look at the Jeep as I am not fortunate enought to know about mechanics to fix the Jeep myself.
The gas has been in the Jeep for a least a year but the guys think it is some sort of electrical problem. I loosened all the grounds and sanded them pretty good but still the same problem.
Does this sound familiar, if so can anyone help.
Thanks in adavnce

Its difficult to diagnose from not seeing all it does when it stalls but i think ide replace the fuel filter first.

did you clean the coil wires? the power and ground? do you actually see the tach drop to zero and then engine stall in sequence? that could be a relay. as much info as possible will help.

The fuel filter is on the inside of the driverside frame in a pocket just in front of the rear tire. You said you replaced the cam position sensor, have you checked the crank position sensor to see if it is good?

Thanks for all the advice, my mechanic has just told me that i need a new PCM, he thinks water got into into the existing one, ( I stupidly power washed the engine while it wasnt running ) and it is sending too high a voltage to the sensors. I have to go search for one tomorrow, thanks for the help and I will let you know if the problem is solved.
