95 Sahara, heater

I have AC and heat in my jeep. The only vents the hot air blows from is on my feet or onto my windshield, is this normal? is there a way to have it blow out my vents onto my seats?

Not 100% sure, but most older systems were like that. The a/c usually had its own vents as it was more of an add on system than something highly engineered into the design of the car.

goatman is correct.

with a YJ you can have the heat either on your feet or on your windshield. Thats your only 2 choices. The AC is an under dash mounted part that is seperate from the heating system.

YKYDAYJ when you have shitty A/C and Heat. I have no idea why but the way they were designed and installed kind of like separate unbits it just doesn't work for most. You would think they would have made the two combined but they probably had to save some bucks on the more luxurious extras like A/C.

it actually kinda makes good sence if you think about it. heat rises so you blow your heat down low and it will heat the area of the jeep. and if you cool up high and cold air falls you will cool the entire jeep. just my .02 but maybe you can make something to do it yourself? and jokerchief, my heat works great, i have to turn it down some days because its to hot
