95 yj 4x4 problems

I just purchased a 95 wrangler 2.5 5 speed the 4x4 lever will not move it's in 2wheel now but would like to fix so can use when needed. I have read a bunch of posts about this problem. I am ordering the posi lock upgrade from quadratec tonight after work to get rid of the vacuum hassle. What other options/advice do you guys have. Thank you

The vacuum lines are nothing to be scared of. As long as they are not dry rotted they work fine. If you really want to do away with them get a tj or xj axle. Cheaper, stronger, and more reliable than anything.

As for not being able to shift into 4x4, lube your linkage, and if that doesn't fix it then adjust the rod.
