'95 YJ check engine light codes

so a few days ago i got the check engine light. i retreived the flashing light codes from turning the key on, off, on, off, on, and got 12, 33, 24. i've double check it mulitple times and thats what they are. i can find what 12 would be, 33 is a AC relay and i dont have AC, and 24 is a throttle positioning sensor. everything seems to be running right, the light went away the next time i drove it but it came back on today with the same codes.

Any idea on how to fix this?

12 is the beginning of the code process, disregard the AC code and fix (change) the TPS

12 is a recent battery disconnect (or ECU reset). I had a 12, 33, 21, 55, and I found my positive battery terminal on the exposed wires had become corroded, trimmed it and it was all good. The loose connection for whatever reason effected my available voltage to my sensors. Go figure.

Not likely what you got, I'd try the TPS. Something to think about though.

Code:
12 Battery power to PCM was disconnected
33 An open or shorted condition detected in A/C clutch relay circuit
21 Oxigen sensor input voltage maintaned above the normal operating range
55 End of code output
My Yj had same problem and replaced throttle positioning sensor, this fix my problem.

Your diagnostic port is under the hood on the firewall, mine is near the brake booster its a kind of square but L shaped plug with about a half dozen slots in it.If your computer is OBD2 it wont work. An OBD2 scanner will have an oblong flat plug with around 16 pins in it.I have scanning equipment that will read not only codes but a real time data on the OBD1
that we have.
