95 YJ missing o2 sensor???

Crawled under my girlfriends YJ this weekend to see were all the exhaust leaks were coming from and see if i could patch some new pipe in till she can buy a full header and exhuast system later this summer. While looking around i noticed there was a bung about 8-10in below the header that had a plug in it and i said there should be an o2 sensor there. Figured i would just go get one from the store and be done with it. but when i went to look for a connector i didnt see one. popped the hood and dug around nothing. SO here is my question... what do i do now? can i trace down the wires in the harness and hard wire one in? or should i be looking for a new harness??? The jeep has a newer Jasper creat motor in it. i dont know if that would have anything to do with it or not.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks
-Mike

There should be one and the plug for it, is up next to the oil pan on the driver's side, theres actually a little bracket that it clips on to that is held on by an oil pan bolt.
