Idk if youre still on here ibeb but...

Any reason why you made the brackets as long as you did for the wish bone? The axle side.

Looks like they couldve been tucked up another couple of inches.

I bought a 91 jeep Sahara 4.0 automatic about 2 weeks ago with a lot of issues , one of them was the rear differential being broken and before I start putting work i just want to drive it and smog it , my question is ! Will a 87 Wrangler rear differential will straight bolt on my 91 Sahara ?? I know the brakes are different but besides that anything els ??

OK...so i have a half ass stupid question ? I have a 93 YJ that i inherited , long story short i have had some electric and wring issues . In short it has a 305 TPI out of a 91 Camaro in it.

well doing some code reads , i found out my OBI wont register any codes , so i jump ALCL..so i have a few questions..

1) any ideas why the OB1 reader wont pick up any codes ?
2) The ALCL, what vehicle is that from the Jeep or the Camaro..?
3) same question about the ECM what vehicle would that be out of ?

Also looking for any ideas for a good tranny and transfer match up...I'm thinking the turbo 350 simply cause you can fine them anywhere and rebuilding is inexpensive .

I'll get some more info on whats under mine once, the weather warms up a bit , so i can do some cleaning and figure out what exactly i do have ?

So any help, pointers, or ideas will be great and appreciated !

I'll be the first to tell you, i don't know a hole a lot about all of this , but i'm learning a bit each day... But what i have read is why put back that same rear end ? Your already replacing your rear end , so why not beef it up ? , I guess unless you already have that laying around...I've read that the 8.8 lines up nice and fits right..( I believe that is whats under mine...need to verify )

I'm sure the more seasoned jeepers probably wouldn't object to that .

Couple of reasons actually. They allow the correct angle I wanted for the bar, and they don't hang lower than the differential.
