95 yj trac loc

I have a 95 yj and I want to a install tracloc differential. I have the new unit with new carrier bearings installed. I need the torque specs for the ring gear, bearing caps and so forth. If anyone has this info or knows of a good source (other than a dealership) it would be appreciated.

You should ask Jerry Bransford for sure but, I think they torque specs are as follows:

55 ft-lbs for the ring gear bolts, tightening in a star pattern.

60 ft-lbs. for the cap bolts

bearing cap bolt-57 ft/lb
ring gear bolt-70-90 fl/lb
diff cover bolt-30 ft/lb
pinion shaft lock screw-12 ft/lb

the only difference for the front is the bearing cap is 45 ft/lb. didn't know if you want front or back axle. enjoy
