a few lift kit questions

I have a stock height 94 wrangler with the 4cyl engine and would like to put a 2 or 2.5 inch lift kit under it. I understand that I will most likely gain more height than that since these are most likely stock springs. My questions are, do I need a transfer case drop kit, sye, or drop pitman arm with this small lift. I have not researched kits very much yet, just some general questions to help me make up my mind.

Thanks

You shouldn't need one.

Only thing from that list I could maybe see would be a small t-case drop.

you shouldnt need either of them. i wouldnt recommend the transfercase drop anyway because it makes it hard to pull the shifter back as soon as the boot gets cold. anything more than a 2.5 inch lift i would suggest getting the drop pitman arm and if you were going to go bigger than the 2.5 i whould invest in a CV driveshaft for the rear, its alot more reliable and no need to drop the t-case

yeah with only a 2 or 2.5 inch lift you should be alright and not need anything extra with it

well i like the rough country 4 inch lift but every one has their own taste. and the 2.5 is the same cost as the 4 inch. i have had no problem with my shifters at all with a tcase drop but guess i am just lucky.

I have the 2.5" RC lift. The guy at RC told me to try it out first before ordering a transfer case drop kit. Turns out I needed it because of heavy vibration at 40 mph.
I do experience stiff shifting when it's cold, as muddigger points out, but it doesn't bother me that much. Just another weird thing about my Jeep to deal with.
