Aftermarket Cup Holders ... That You Installed

I need the room where the cup holders are now (in front of the Tuffy console/ behind the standard shifter) for another mod I am going to do. Anyone put cup holders in any abnormal places & have it work well?

the ones that velcro to the roll cage suck. so do the ones that are in the top of the speaker pods next to the rear passenger's legs.

the best one i have ever found is between the girl's legs who is riding in the passenger seat.

I would imagine the dash speaker location would be a perfect location. I don't use those speakers anyway.

I am working on a plan to fab some into the lid of my console. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Is it a Tuffy console? Or any aftermarket console by chance?

As far as I know it's still got the factory console in it. I can't shift into reverse with anything in the forward holder.

This may be a good place for boat style recessed holders, but you would lose space in the box.

TH Marine Stainless Steel Recessed Cup Holder with Drain from Wholesale Marine

You can attach vinyl tubing to the drains and route it out of the box to the floor so stuff in the box doesn't get wet.
