I've got to drop my tank on my '91 YJ 4.0L to replace the external feed and return hoses that are cracked and leaking and want to replace the fuel pump at the same time (so I don't have to drop the tank again for awhile.) Its an aftermarket Aero steel tank that uses the stock fuel pump on its own pump/sender assembly.
Anyway, there are a bunch of fuel pump options available so I'm looking for some feedback on what others have used, recommend, or have had issues with.
There are Denso, Delphi, Bosch, Carter, Performance Electric, Autobest and other brands out there ranging from $28-$130. I'm looking for quality and long life mainly, but wouldn't mind saving a couple of bucks too.
I'd like to get one ordered by tomorrow so any thoughts would be great. Thanks!
