another 350 swap dream.

So today my clutch was acting up (just needs to be bled/something else, who knows) so then my head got spinning of course...

What would need to be done to my stock 89 wrangler with the 2.5l? It would have to be manual tranny, so find an ax-15, or are there other options that would maybe make it easier? Which t case would i need? Can i just use my current one? Would I need a bigger rear axle? what about front? would i need SYE?

So many questions, i know its a very broad question. I just need some help trying to keep my head from exploding with all of these things.

We'll.. I hear the Ax-15 will hold up ok if you have a light foot.. but then again.. Why be worried about ripping it apart. I did a chevy 350 with a turbo 350 trans adapted into a NP231 with SYE to a tom woods driveshaft into a ford 8.8 with a stock danna 30 up front. Broken 3 dirveshafts on the d 30 so far.. I havea bout 5k into my engine/ axle/ SOA Swap i learnd how to do it on here, So it took me all winter

Is that trans auto? I am looking to keep it manual, and actually I had tried looking through your.build. I remember reading that and you had done the 350 swap

I have decided i want to go with the GM 4.3L engine instead. That should be okay with turdy5 axle for a while. Just gotta be nice with the peddle. My t case can handle it fine. What i do have questions about however...

The gm 4.3 will fit the t case from my understanding. The only issue is the the darn ax-5. Wouldn't be able to handle the power. There isn't a direct bolt from my understanding. The bell housing is different. Is there a different option to go for a tranny? It will have to be a manual 5 spd tranny. Could i use a gm tranny?
