Another heater question

I have heat in my jeep but it doesn't run me out like everyone says it should the blower blows very good and it seems like all the cables move and my heater core isn't clogged and my thermostat runs up to 210 so what am I missing I'd really like it to get warmer in there

Is it a soft top? Do you have carpet?

If its a soft top jeep, then you have cold air getting in while traveling. i.e...top flapping or doors flapping. No heater in a Jeep can compete with that.

If its a hard top and the fan position is anything more than on low, you have heater problems. Mine cooks me out even on the below zero days, I usually have to crack the window down some.

So, tell us what you got and we can better understand what your problem is.

You better suck that up in a heartbeat...$400? Top and doors? You cant buy the doors alone for that price around here.

A decent used top and full doors around here are anywhere from 1200-1800. New you are looking at 2500-4000.

I wouldn't get rid of the soft top though, save it for summer. My jeep is nice in the winter, but sucks in the summer till I get time and help to get the hardtop off.

Yeah, but you cheat...according to your profile pic...lol.

You got one of them "plastic wranglers" with all the insulation in the doors and along the side walls and such. AND full doors, you could ride around town without the top on and still stay decently warm in that ride.

Soft top and carpet doesn't make that much difference. My heater is broken right now but when it was working I had to have the window cracked because I'd start sweating. If it's not heating up check the flapper on the passenger side under the glove box, maybe it's stuck wide open letting cold air in. Mine gets stuck open and I have to manually close it.

All my vent doors seem to be working properly I wonder if it's something to do with the vacuum stuff. Or my soft top and soft uppers leak on spots

Why when it's 43 degrees my heat feels like it's going to melt my skin off but when it's in the 30's and below my heat sucks! The temp gauge still goes to 210 no matter the outside temp
