Another Nutter Question

I'm in the process of doing the Nutter Bypass on my 89 YJ. I do have one big concern, according to the Nutter info I have, it instructs me to block the vacuum line to the distributor. This obviously eliminates the vacuum advance right? How does this then effect engine performance throughout the entire power curve????

Vacuum is removed during timing, after timing is set, hook the vacuum advance to manifold vacuum

Thanks very much! This is my first Jeep. Other than removing all the emissions and installing an MC2100, I'm going stock until everything works.
