Take the distributor cap off and look at the underside of it, for rubbing marks.
If the bronze bushing is bad on the shaft for the distributor, the rotor will wobble and leave scrape marks in the cap.
You should also be able to move the top of the shaft where the rotor sits, back and forth if its bad.
