Any advice on putting a 44re into '92 YJ 4.0 w/32rh

Hi everyone, new to this forum...
I had a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 5.2 V8 and 44re auto trans.. I totaled the jeep and bought a 1992 wrangler with 4.0 and 32rh auto trans. (runs/drives good), but I figured maybe better gas milage with the 44re (4speed)?
Has anyone ever made this conversion and what would it require in additional parts, electrical, etc. (I think the Wrangler has a 231 transfercase?)

Thanks, Chad
