Anyone have windshield mounted lights? Where did you run the wires?

As the title says, where do you run the wires?

I bought a couple of KC 100W Daylighters and mounted them on my stock bumper, but I want to move them before the winter. I don't want to hit a snow bank this winter and break the lights off of the bumper! So I figured I should move them to the windshield.

Any ideas on where to run the wires? I was thinking about running them under the windshield frame gasket or, dare i say it, drilling a hole in the body..

Thanks!

I drilled a small hole just big enough for the wire then ran them behind my dash to meet in the middle for a toggle switch. Looks nice and clean and you can only see a few inches of wire.

I folded the windshield frame down and ran the wires under the cowl seal(windshield gasket)

I also have them on the bumper, no problems with damage...

Did you get any leaks in the cowl seal after running the wires under there?

Nope, the wires are small enough that I haven't had any leaks where they run under the seal. Run the wire loom up flush with outside of seal and run just the wires under the seal. You can always add a dab of silicone on the wires near the front of the seal to add a little piece of mind.
