Are complete axle assemblies worth the price?
I would like to upgrade my stock Dana axle to something beefier. Would building my own upgrade with used/refurbished and a scattering of new parts be the way to go or just buy a complete axle assemby? Are they a good deal or a rip off? Just a curious newb.
About: (this particular one is $2,400)
The same G/2 Dana 44 axles we build for the TJ is now available for the YJ and XJ!! Built in the same high quality manner as the TJ 44s, these are designed to fit the rear of a YJ and XJ. These assemblies come complete built using G2 components and a variety of lockers. You will need to use your stock brakes. Minor welding is required.
