Unhappy Automatic Transmission Fluid Leak

My 95 Jeep Wrangler has an odd problem. Approximately every 500 miles I have to add a quart of transmission fluid. I have no idea where the fluid is going? I do not have an oil puddle on my driveway. It might be dripping while I'm underway. I have no clue. Anyone have any thoughts?

my 87 does this too and i am working on finding the leak with it but i have been busy lately... try adding some lucas transmission fluid to your jeep and see if that helps at all

There's no replacement for displacement.

It might be over heating and burning some off, or spewing it out the breather while driving. Is it damp or coated with fluid on the underside of the tub?

check the rear seal and see if it is running off the shaft. You can also set a piece of poster board or cardboard under it overnight and trace any drips up to where they started.

Aside from that, x2 to what AzTJ said...

Thanks guys. The underside does have some oily residue but I don't have a puddle.
