axle leak? 87 wrangler

First off, sorry im new to this site and forums in general. I just bought an 87 wrangler with 14 inch lift and 38.5 x 14.50 thornbirds. It has a dana 44 solid front axle.I noticed the other day on the inside front right tire oil all over it. someone told me this sounds like the axle seal. Does anyone know how hard of a job that consists of? Thanks!

if you are a pretty good mechanic with a good selection of tools then no it is not a big deal to replace the seal.
make sure it's not brake fluid , stock brakes would not like stopping 38's at all very often..lol
post a pic of your beast

i know this is off topic, but it looks like you don't even need all that body lift. i'd take it out.
