axle question

I have a 95 yj with a 4.0, 5 spd. Dana 30 and 35 axles with stock ratio. 3.07. 265/70r16 tires same as 31x10.5r16. 4 inch suspension lift with trak bars removed. I no longer use 5th gear on the highway and getting the jeep moving from a dead stop is taking a toll on the clutch especially when I have passengers... everyone wants to ride in the jeep ;-). I don't wheel much and not hard when I do. I recently purchased axles from an 87 yj with 4.10 gears. They are complete including brakes on the rear and all steering linkage and brakes on the front.
Would the 4.10 gears be overkill for my setup?
Will the complete axles bolt in?
I understand the steering linkage is different but they use the same Pittman arm. The rear is a non c clip. The brakes are slightly different but I don't think that is a problem.
Thanks...

The rear is a little stronger without the C-clips, the front is a little weaker with smaller u-joints and the two piece cad. The 4.10's should be fine but I'd take the front axles out of your 95 and put them in the D30.

So the axle shafts would fit or do I need to change knuckles, hubs and bearings as well?

I dont think the 95 is CAD, I think they dropped it in 95. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is why I said change the axles. I beleive the 95 has stonger u joints and is a 1 piece solid axle on the passenger side.

Correct me if I'm wrong... a 1 piece axle means no disconnect right? I have vacuum disconnect on the 95.

My bad, I thought 95 had one piece. In that case unless it has larger U joints you can just keep the older D30 intact, save you some work.
Btw, it would be easy to just use the the 4.10 axle from the ball joint in. This way you are using your newer brakes and the steering stays the same.

Great! Then I can use my current steering linkage. I know there are no issues with it. Thanks.
