Axle strength?

Will Ford half ton axles (nine inch and Dana 44) hold up to a Cummins 4BT running 35 inch tires with a form of lockers and whatever the proper gearing would be.

I'm preparing my little four banger for a powerful four banger down the road.

Your going to need a nodular iron third for the 9.

So it wouldn't be a dead investment for my jeep now then. Awesome.

Don't want to upgrade my axles now Just to find out need bigger axles for my intended engine.

could always slap a ford 10.25 in vs the rear 9".. but might have to go with bigger tires...
