ba10 swap to ax-15

Parts needed for the swap...
I have the planetary(input) for my t-case with the 23 spline to match with the ax-15.
I know that the slave cyl is different. I want to know if I am able to leave my brand new set up in place. Basically leave the bell and slave from the 87 and just bolt up the trans, switch the t-case and be done?
I also picked up 4:10 rears and new spring that I got for dirt cheap that I am gonna just throw some add a leaf springs in it.

I believe you can retain the intenal slave cylinder but it would be in your best interist to switch to the external slave. If the ax15 you got has the bellhousing and clutch fork then it should just be a bolt in. But i seem to remember a different mount for the master/resevoir on top.

The ax-15 that I am possibly getting does not have the bell housing. So I would have to use the old ba-10 bell and slave. I cant really fork out the extra cash right now with everything else I am doing at the moment. Plus the slave from the ba-10 is brand new and less than 3k on it. Its not that hard to drop the trans in a few years to switch it, just kinda suck when I know I could save my self the trouble by doing it now.

Ok the trans I am getting tomorrow I think is out of a 97 or 98 TJ. Does that cause me any issues? I believe I also need a different tranny mount too. Is this true, can someone tell me what mount I need?
I also heard that my 4wd shifter needs to be altered? How?
And I believe my 4wd light wont work either... How can I fix that?
The trans has no bell and no shifter either...I can use my bell but I know I need a shifter since mine wont work.
Anything else I should know??

Well I got my trans today. 98 ax-15 out of a sahara. Looks to be in good shape with no leaks. I still need to get a shifter.
I also got my axles yesterday. They are still d35 & d30's but they are 4.10's which is much better than the 3.07 that are in it now. It's also much easier to put 4.56's or 4.88's in a rear that has 4.10's than it is 3.07's....carrier is the same for the 4's.
I have my springs and will be getting the add a leaf in 2 weeks. Then everything will be going together. Our old springs actually have a negative arch to them. So these will be a huge improvement.
