Bastard Pack Advice

Well found a full set of springs from a 93 YJ at the local scrapyard. cheep price for all 4. So had it in my mind to build a bastard pack. anybody already done this? needing to know how many of the donner leafs i should use or use all of them? looking for lift, don't care about ride quality. lift and flex that about it.

anybody that has done this, some advice would be awesome thanks a lot!!!

* 1988 jeep YJ,1.5" lift shackles, 31' BFG, rest bone stock

I don't think stock yj springs will give you any lift, as they run mostly flat anyway. I think s-10 springs are what most people make a bastard pack with. They have more arch to them as they are made to carry weight, yj springs are more for ride. By making a bastard pack you are going to stiffen the ride quite a bit.
