Battery Cables Help please 91 YJ 4cyl

Ok so I got a new battery today... Still not cranking... but at least it is turning over, last week I had the same problem and thought it was the ignition coil... It was not, turns out the positive wire is loose. so to prevent this from repeating itself I have decided to replace my cables. On my positive I have two wires crimped to the post terminal, one going to the starter and one to the fuse box... My main question is will the wires they sell at every auto store with the boosters is enough to run the fuse box.... the cable running there now is much larger than the new ones with the extra positive end. Please help if someone has a pic of theirs it would help alot too. I have a 91 YJ 4cyl

Most auto parts stores sell "prefabbed" cables for the battery, both in the normal battery post attaching ends AND the non-battery post attaching ends. Remove your cables and bring them in for a "match up". That sure is a lot easier than someone guessing for you.

Take care,
Check "YJ V6 Conversion Swap" if you want to see my "frame up" restoration that anyone can do.

Check "WWII Willy's restoration and usage..." if you want to see THE ORIGINAL JEEP IN ACTION.

I did this last month. AutoZone/Advanced/NAPA all carry generic red and black cables to do what you're asking. You can buy them at the desired length, all 4G, in both colors with whatever connector you want on the end.
