battery question

I have a 250A alternator to power some accesories can this can overcharge my battery?

Depending on year and motor size both are regulated differently. Delco is internally regulated and nippondenso is ECU regulated. Neither will overcharge if wired properly. By that I mean stock wiring.

Its a 94 4.0L , everything is stock thats being upgraded, I just got a regular die hard battery from sears and I ordered this for an alternator

and I got a wire upgrade kit that follows the same path of the stock wiring but just is bigger.


So its regulated by the alternator and or ecu to not overcharge then ?

According to the advertisement, its regulated by the ECM

Cool thanks I looked right over that, I was reading of batteries boiling, exploding from overchargeing and was getting worried thanks
