best deal for 2.5" suspension lift kit with shocks?

Wanting to do a 2.5" lift kit for my 94 yj. looked all over ebay, amazon, etc. they are all about the same price. A local guy says you can find them for about $300 in some magazines, including shocks. I must not be that lucky, anybody have a clue? Thanks!

I installed the Rc 2.5 lift on my YJ and I seriously think it is actually 4 inch lift. With 31 inch tires I still have about 6 to 8 inches above the front tire. Even with a 1" transfer case drop I have bad vibes coming from the rear drive shaft. When I compared it to a buddies Jeep with a 4" RC lift they were the same height. Not sure if I got lucky or screwed.

How bad are your buddies springs worn? Also did the kit come with axle degree shims? All by do is go between your spring and spring perch and angle the yoke more towards the TC.

Actually my buddies lift is newer than mine. I've been battling my rear gears and haven't had it out yet. I have the stock 3.07 gears and can't get freeway speeds and uphill sucks. I've installed a Howell TBI kit and all new stock ignition because the HEI sucked, couldn't get the advance curve straight. Supposedly it should have been set by the manufacturer but even a dyno guy said it was all jacked, and a waste of time and money. Hence switching back.

With the vibes do you install axle shims? Also do you have the stock shackles?

Rc lifts come with shims, and yes I'm using the stock shackles, but all new bushings, and bolts.
