Best shackle lift?

Just wondering if anyone has any input on what kind of shackle lift to buy. I know im going to get greaseable ones but are there certain brands to steer away from, as well as brands that people prefer? any info would help. thanks!

buy a few pieces of 3/8 Steel. You need a welder, a grinder, a drill and 4 bolts. and poof you can make your own shackles and you can make them however big or small you want. Heres a pic of the HUGE shackles i made for myself

You can make 'em, sure. But if you don't have a torch/plasma cutter and a welder you'll be kinda stuck. You can't really beat the MORE shackles. Strong as hell- very high quality. Get the boomerangs while you're at it and don't go over 5/8ths inch.

Installing large shackles (1"+) puts alot more stress on the shackle mount and the spring. When you flex it's basically gonna act like a big prybar on the mounts which aren't known for being that strong. The bigger the shackles, the bigger the "prybar". Also they'll throw your caster out the window unless you shim the axle along with.

In general stay below 1" of lift with the shackle. As state less stress on the leaf pack. Also something to consider about the one that take grease the bolts are a bit weaker as they have holes in them for the grease.

the clearence stays about the same on suspension and increases on motor and body and things like that, If you build it right you will have the truck super stable and have it good, the way i have my shackles set up i could run them without bolts b/c all of the pressure is on the 2 welds of the play in the middle

Both mine front and back are 5 inches...... but my front are almost straight up and down ... I was thinking about making some shackles with a bend in the so they will have better movement ??? What do you guys think?
