Bestop bikini top..Is this correct

I just got in this top Saturday and don't think it is correct for the front lip. My soft top has an extended lip that fits over the channel. From this photo you can see this one does not. Does this install in a different way than the soft tops or did they just not install a large enough piece on plastic lip?

That is the right one. You fold it over at the end and push the whole edge (the seem part) into the channel. It confused the crap out of me too the first time I did it, but that's how it goes.

Thanks.
Maybe it will make more sense when I put in on but how does the snap thing work or is that a requirement for an 89 YJ? Maybe the snap is more for the CJ models since they say it works for 78-91 year models. If someone had a snap shot of the area that might help. Supposed to rain here next few days so will have to wait until later before I retry to install.

I had to drill and install a snap kit in my windshield frame. I waited until I had it into the channel, stretched it as far as it would go (on a warm day) and then marked here to put the snaps. Works great.
