Black Diamond add a leaf kit

I found a brand new 2" Black Diamond add a leaf kit for my 95. The guy selling it to me only wants 200 for the whole set up.It comes with 4 add a leafs 2 rear 2 front all hardware and 4 new shocks. Kit has never been used he opted for a 4" spring kit. While I seen it in Quadratec for 300. Does anyone know anything about this kit? Is it worth it or should I just buy something else. I don't know anything about Black Diamond. Kit also looks fairly easy to install anyone know about how hard it is to install?

I'm looking at the same kit, I'm just going to have to pay full price. Let me know if you do install it and how you like it.

I put this lift on my 88 and it is great. Had to lower the transmission because of vibration. Everything else worked great. Took about 4 hours. You will need new u bolts for the axles.

The kit the guy wants to sell me has them with it. Yours didn't come with them? Maybe he bought them separate I don't know. You have any tricks to making the job easier?

No tricks just jump in and do it. I also replaced all the shackle bushings while I had them apart.

The only trick I can think of for doing an add a leaf is to get some decent size zip ties to hold the leaf packs together when you are ready to reinstall them into your Jeep. Sounds like a pretty good deal. Good luck.

Black diamond is junk in my opinion. 2 years and found out one of the add a leafs broke in two places. Did hit a few big bumps so grant it that could be the problem but all 4 shocks sound like they are water bottles when shaken? That not right on a vehicle thats used mainly for commuting and low miles since they were installed. Fork out a little extra on a kit with four new leafs. On a older jeep it is best for new springs, new bushings, and they come stacked with a steel clamp to hold them together.
