Heres the problem:
-Front left blinker dash symbol stays lit with headlights/park lights on.
-Left blinker will not blink with the lights on.
-Lights off, blinker works.
-Headlights, park lights, and all tail light functions work as normal.
-Hazards work as they should.
Items I have replaced:
-4" round LED tail lights
-2" round LED reverse lights
-1" oval LED front side markers/blinkers
-front parking lamp sockets
-front parking lamp bulbs
-hazard flasher relay
-blinker flasher relay
Diagnostics I have done:
-removed head light switch, and jumped individual wires one at a time, performs same as hitting the switch, left front blinker light goes solid on dash
-check continuity of grounds at front parking lamps, >0.1 ohms, as good as being connected directly to the battery
-using a DVM, there is 12.2V + at the park light harness on both sides
Only item I havent dug into is the directional/blinker/wiper switch (what ever you wanna call it).
If you have replaced your blinker switch, what were your symptoms? I hate replacing parts as part of diagnostics, but I think this switch is the only piece left in the system? Is there a spot where these wires chafe commonly? Any harness issues I am unaware of?
