blown clutch

roasted the clutch today trying to push through some icey river. the landowners were chasing me through the waist deep water... but i wont get into that.

i noticed that 3rd and 4th gear were really rumbling at about 35-40 mph. i figured i needed a SYE but never got around to it. im pretty confident it was the clutch slipping though. anyways, any suggestions on wat to do for a new clutch? has anyone done one before?

another idea i had was to just replace the whole engine and transmission while im digging into it so deep. i hate having a 4cyl.

Look in your other thread about the flywheel in the "builders corner" section.

good idea to replace the bearing, disc, pressure plate and resurface the flywheel especially if its slipping.
You likely have some hard spots on it.
Good Luck
