I hate to hear about your luck, but I wanted to tell you to keep looking around for an engine. I just located 2 from people that just upgraded to a v8, 2.5l engine + n231 TC + and Tranny all together one was 1200, and the other 1000. for everything.

I needed engine parts, bought it took what I needed, and sold the rest on ebay and craigslist... It paid for the purchase and I had about 300 extra to pocket.

Best of luck
