Blue LEDs

So I am going to swap out all of my interior lights to Blue LEDs. I know I am supposed to get 194 LEDs, but which ones are the brightest? I am trying to get the brightest ones possible, and also I am not sure what the best way to change the dome light in the hard top is. Can I get a clear cover and do a blue bulb or just get a white bulb and do a blue cover? I have no idea. I never opened it up, I am assuming it is the fuse style light but I could be wrong.

For the dash, get these:

194 LED Bulb - 5 SMD LED Wide Angle Wedge Base | Miniature Wedge Base LEDs | LED Car Bulbs | Super Bright LEDs

For the dome light, just buy a blue bulb, but I warn you, blue is a low visibility color so don't expect to see a whole lot inside there. Pop it open and check out which type of bulb it is.

Well all I know is my 93 has a "dome" light that I have to actually turn the switch on for. My Jeep must be completely different.

Just get the LED strip lights they got at Auto Zone or Pep Boys. They worked fine for me. When I got my Jeep they were already in.

Yeah I just wired mine to the door switch. I also have a kill switch to keep everything off when the doors are off.

The bulbs under the dash are a waste of money. They are too small no matter what kind of bulbs you put in there. Just get led strips that are adhesive and stick them under there.

These would suffice better than the crappy LED strips:

7 inch 12-LED Light Tube | Light Tubes | Accent Lighting | Super Bright LEDs

And they're bright too. One LED tube is brighter than the dome lights.

That depends though. I got some LED strips off EBay that will blind the crap out of you at night. Waterproof as well. They are enclosed in a solid strip of rubber.

I agree. I own a 2011 Cosmos Blue 2Dr and I want to change the lights to blue. I need step by step instructions or a recommended place to take the jeep to to help make this happen. Any suggestions?

Just wire a kill switch to the door switch. I assume that is what you mean? Lights on with doors off.
