everyone recommends not to go over 1.25" body lift..some people have done it and had no problems..but 9 outta 10 will say dont do it, id sell it and get a suspension lift ;]

Not install it if it really is a 3" lift.

Yeah don't we all ..

I ran a 3" BL for a little while and although I didn't have any issues, it has the potential to become a safety issue in an accident and does put unneeded stress on some parts.. Best not to use it.. Trade it off for a 1" maybe.

What are your plans for the Jeep? A good friend of mine has a 3" body lift on his 93 YJ along with a 1.5" shackle lift and doesnt have any problems, although its not beaten off road much.

The bumpers mount to the frame.

I have a 3" body lift with 31" tires and stock suspension. I really think it would be top heavy with a 3-4 inch lift and the 3 inch body. I am thinking on going to a 2.5 inch lift and 1" body.

I can recommend the 3" body lift if you plan on running 31's and stock suspension. I have been since I bought it like this and it works out great with a little trim to the fenders.

it already has a 4" susp lift. and i really dont do any major mud riding. just like taking the road less traveled. the body lift wouldnt have hurt anything on mine, i jus didnt want to go that route. im saving for doing a soa. already has pitman arm, extended break lines and shocks that are bottomed out at the moment due to it had a bigger lift before i purchased it

Exactly what I'm after I think it's the best setup for exploratory driving. I have 2.5" RC SL, front extended stainless steel braided brake lines and 1" longer greasable boomerang shackles. I'm putting in SYE with CV shaft, quick disconnect sway bar links, rear extended stainless steel braided line, sway bar adapters, drop pitman arm, and ford 8.8 rear axle in there to finish it off. That should wrap up the drivetrain and suspension mods.
