Body lift kit install ?

How is everyone unbolting body mounts to add spacers? I had to repair a couple on 95 YJ and the nuts are usually up inside some metal support? I had all 3 bolts break off when I tried to unbolt them. Two where in rusted out area do I could just reach in and pull out nut. Third one was in the area under driver's seat and that one I had to cut body support sheet metal to get nut out. Then reweld cut after replacing mount.

That what I was afraid of. Not easy to cut out old hardware. Also doing it 8 or 10 times in strange angled locations. Can some one share their experience with me? It's a 95 YJ that has lived it's life in north east. So much rust. How hard is it? What dud you do? How did you get the nut side of bolt out?

I'm waiting for warmer temps to do just that. In any case, I was planning to go through inside of the tub. Brake them/unscrew them and whatever left - put tub on one side to have better access, drill with a hole saw, a couple of cans of PB blaster, welder, and a few more little things. Nothing it can't tackle . Its better be done right.

I have easy access to front 2. Next 4 nuts I think are sandwiched between floor and support. So you have to do some cutting Back 2 are a bitch. They are up inside a boxed in area inside rear fenders. I had to rebuild the driver side already. Welded a washer to a nut. Then welded washer to sheet metal. Installed new bolt. Hopefully later ill be able to Just unbolt that one. Passenger side was barely ok as is. But it will have to be done sometime.
