body lift problems

What do I do about a bolt that breaks off up in the body.

Which one? Thats the key on the answer. I had to fix 3 on mine. One was the third passenger side. Drivers front , and drivers rearmost.

In any case most likely you will need to cut out the old bolt mount and put in a new one, weld it shut.

It can be done from above in some cases and can be done from underneath in all cases. Thats what I did with mine.

Well the reason I ask is if the bolt is broken flush then you can weld a bolt then heat the bottom with a torch and turn the new bolt out with the broken one attached and if it's stil sticking a little out then they sell sockets that you put over the broken bolt and as you back them out they squeeze onto what's left of the bolt and again you can heat up and unscrew it. point being I have many other ideas on how to get that bolt out as well but it would help if you had a picture. Then We can give you the best opinion or ideas we can come up with.I'm not sayin yam jam isnt correct but every situation does present it's own small headaches. Just saying.
