Bogging when turning Left with less than a 1/2 tank

OK, Jeep is bogging down on hard left turns when tank is less than 1/2 full. I'm guessing that the fuel pickup has come lose or broke off.

Which means it is time to drop the tank.

Anybody know of any other possible causes for this problem or fixes before I drop the tank?

or you have something moving around and stopping the pick up tube when turning. Either way, you need to drop the tank. It really isn't too hard

wherever you go there you are..........

same thing happens to my 89. When i posted a thread about it, i found out its fairly common and just comes with the territory when it comes to YJs. Im planning on replacing my pickup tube eventually, but for the time being, Ill just keep the fuel level above 1/4 tank.
