brakes locked

Hey guys i was driving through the back roads when a dog ran out and i slammed the brakes on. i guess i have abs cause it didnt just skid it gradually slowed down from about 55. i was cruising around later and noticed my jeep to be very sluggish got down and looked and my disk bakes are locked up. so i let it sit for a while turn it back on and the pedal is spongy and needed to be pumped like when my clutch master cylinder went out. Do you think its the brake master cylinder? The guy at my local auto parts store mentioned the proportining valve.

What do you guys think?

i dont think ts the caliper cause they were both working fine and then we slammed on the brakes and i must have done something like blow the master cylinder i couldn't fathom the odds of bot calipers going out at once

there is a rubber diafram sp??thingy
that can blow on caliper but not on both the
same time
maybe the abs is telling it
to put the brakes on ???

look at the ABS system

i really think its the master because of the whole cool down then spongy pedal issue

also the red brake indicator light in the idiot cluster was coming on when i would fully depress the pedal but only while it was spongy was when the light was coming on

No the ABS light is not on and I don't think that it has ever been lit up since the problem started
