broke shock mount

so today i was driving with a friend and we hit a speed bump i didnt see to fast and my shock mount broke it was the passenger rear shock mount on the axle it didnt break the welds the actual mount itself snapped does anyone kno if a weld will hold it or where i can get the part none of the parts stores can get it and the local junk yard has no wranglers in it any help appreciated

I had the same problem and bolted a ford F250 shock mount and cut it to size.
Been holding strong on and off road

i broke the shock mount on the axle not the frame i wish itd have snapped on the frame thatd be soo much easier

i broke mine on the axle too, what i did was take it off clean it up real good, both sides, put it back on the shock and tack the broken peice.then remove the shock and finish weld it. being careful not to get it too hot and warp it as the shock wont fit. it would also be helpful if you could get it up on a lift. hasnt broke yet.

yea i was gunna try that but does anyone know where i can get the part incase it breaks again i flex the jeep alot and cant afford to keep worrying about
