Broken Front Drive shaft

So I have been trying to fix up a 91 YJ. The 4WD was not working. I updated and replaced the 4WD actuator. It is now working well. When I got the 4WD working I tried to pull the rear wheels into a snow drift and then use the front wheels to pull out. This snapped the front drive shaft. The shaft running from the transfer case to the front axle. This drive shaft appears to have been welded back together once. I will try to load images of the weld job to verify my suspissions but I am pretty sure.

My question is, How do I replace the drive shaft once the new one arrives? Step by step directions would be good.

I will be replacing the front drive shaft with a new Tom Woods driveshaft just to make sure it is done correctly. Any recomendations or helpful tips on how to install the new one would be much appreciated.
