Broken oil pan bolt

I noticed my oil pan had one bolt with the head missing awhile back. I don't know why, but this bothers me. I drilled a hole in the center of it and tried to use an ease out on it, but the ease out wont grip. I tried to give the ease out a tap with a hammer to help it bite, but still no cigar. I have never had this happen before. Usually I break the ease out. Are all ease outs created equal?

I personally like pipe extractors.

Not if you bought them at Harbor Freight
Try a left hand drill, sometimes just the drill will take out the bolt...., I like the easy outs that are sort of square with sharp edges, not the reverse twist ones. With the square ones you can really drive them tight and get a good grip.
