The upper rear shock mount is broken on my 89 yj....Where can I get a new one without fabricating it myself....There must be a weld on or bolt on somewhere out there somewhere........
pics of how it broke would be helpful did the mount rust through or snap? i am going to assume it rusted through. in witch case it might be a god idea to just buy a new mount and weld a new mount in in place of the old one.
my 93 did that i flexed with a 2 inch lift shock and i guess it was not enough and snapped off i mean the rust didnt help any but yeah i welded it on 2 already and just snapped again and so i just left it off i dont ntice a diff. haha but when i get my 4" lift im gonna fix it or run a bolt through the frame..
My friends 89 YJ did the same thing. He used some flat steel and a piece of square tubing. He is on this site if you would like to know the steps to making it. ncfirefighter217 is his screen name on here.
