Broke a rear shock mount on the drivers side... Do you guys think it is ok to drive the car a few days since I removed the shock? My daily driver is in the shop until Tuesday.... Let me know if you think I will mess anything up too bad to drive it
I blew both out on a jump I shouldn't have done. drove the jeep home from Florida to Pennsylvania with both rear shock mounts broken. Couldn't even tell didn't feel a difference but my leafs are very stiff.
I ran mine for a week with a broken upper mount on the driverside rear. I wouldn't go too long as it would add a little more strain on other things. But, you will be fine I'm sure.
Thanks guys, My Mini is in the shop for repairs and I drove the Jeep today with no issues, just took it slow over bumps and didn't make any drastic maneuvers. I have ordered the rear shock mount replacement and hope to get it in over the next week or so.
