busted manual window arm??

any advice on how to repair a window arm? the passenger door manual arm inside the door is bent, no good way i've found to bend it back correctly (door panels are in the way).....ive got most of it, but the window still is abou 2 inches from closing all the way, i think because it is bent up high where i cant reach in the door. can this be fixed or do i need to buy a new arm?

I had the same problem a few years ago. I rolled down the window and it would not go up. Of course it was snowing and blowing when it happened. The regulator (arm) was bent. I have not been able to find a replacement. I took the window out and removed the regulator. I put it in the vice and straightened it out. It still works, but I make sure to help the window up with my right hand when rolling it up. You can get power window kits from JC Whitney and others with new regulators. I just couldn't justify the expense. Don't know if that helped.
