C & C Fabrication

CCfabs, has anyone bought anything from these guys? Im probably going to order some tube fenders but I was hoping for some positive reviews before I did.

Those are the exact ones I have and I love them. Great quality and they hold up on the trails. I'd recommend them to anyone. I matched them up with the smittybilt 3" rear tube flares. They look great together. If you want any pics, just tell me.

I got them off of eBay. They didn't have a real site when I ordered. The first fender was tricky, just because we were trying to figure out exactly where to cut. The second fender was a breeze. About 4 hours total, including the rear flares and taking off the stock ones.

how much of the old fender do you keep, I have a pretty good sized rust hole at the bottom corner on one side, and the stock fender looks pretty flaky where is mounts to the tub.

All of the inner fender and I kept about 1" along the seam between the outer and inner fender. Everything else is gone. It got rid of all my rust.

The mounts to the tub get pulled off. It's all in the directions. They are pretty decent.

well i think you sold me, Im on the fence between the hood line ones you have and the regular 3" flare ones, decisions decisions

You're going to love them. I had to decide too, and I think I picked the right one. The regular 3" flares just seemed huge.

That was what I thought too. They handle abuse too. I hit a ditch at about 25mph while I was out wheeling the day after I put them on. The right front shackle and tire hit, broke the leaf spring, and shoved the tire right into the fender. The stock one would have crumpled and probably popped my tire, but these held up great, it just messed up the paint a little.

Also, if looking for a new bumper, check out Metalcloak. I had just put mine on the same day as the fenders, and it was great too. It took most of the impact and came out looking good as new. I was very impressed.

Metalcloak's stuff is sweet, I really wanted their arched tube fenders, but daaamn $$$, just couldnt justify spending that much.

I almost bought the overlines, but decided to use the extra money on other jeep stuff. Almost wish I would have, because I'd be able to stuff 40's and 1 ton axles under my YJ.
