Can you bypass door light switch on 91 yj?

im wondering if you can bypass the switches that tell you if your doors are open or not because my switches have broke and i think that the lights being on are killing my battery any ideasss???

On mine I just disconnected them.....done

Are your lights on all the time even if the doors are shut? You must likely have the dial set to on. Look to the right of your headlight switch. There is a dial that can adjust dash light and you can turn on your cab lights. If it's clicked all the way up, all the lights inside will turn on.

... and I have a couple of those switches (I think ) in used condition if you have issues getting them.

ok thanks i just got them to turn off. they would stay on even with the door shut. hopefully this is the reason my battery drains dead... my driverside switch is smashed so i disconnected it.
