Anybody got the part number for a non tilt steering, .... Turn signal canceling cam with the horn wire I found it without the horn wire I want the horn wire if I can.
J4487711 is original Mopar
Crown or Dorman is fine just want the horn wire
Or if someone has a good wiring solution for the horn wire I will take that.
Trying NOT to mount horn button on dash I like it on steering wheel.
it does not come with a wire, inside the stem sticking out of the cam there is a spring and a small aluminium pin and a retainer that holds it all together
Or do I just make one using a ink pen spring or something like that?
The wire had a small round end that made contact on the brass ring on bottom not sure where to get or how to make hat part the spring I am not to worried about I can find a spring to work. just thinking a normal wire crimp will not work but I have not tried it yet either for the contact point in the brass ring.
Yep, I had no problems with it so far. With the Grant install hub and the new Grant 13" wheel. It all works like it should. Even with the pen spring in there...lol.
I did splice the horn wire into the Grant hub kit, like the directions say. And when I was putting it back together is when I lost the spring. So I made my own. lol
The grant spring for the horn button is a much larger diameter spring (about 1.5") and fits directly under the horn button.
