cant get fire have replaced evry thing i know of????? on the

Fuses, coil pack distributor, rotor and cap and even cam shaft postion sensor. I Have worked on it and tried every thing I know and no luck. Don't really think the Ing switch will fix it butt it was the cheapest part IV bought so far so I'm trying it. I did check the coil pack and distributor wires with an ohm Metter and there was a current going through them????????? I miss driving my Jeep :-(

tell us what happend... what is it doing... have you checked to make sure its getting fuel? how many miles do you have on your rig? have you tried turning it over while spraying carb cleaner in the intake? see what happens if you do that... atleast then you know its a fuel delivery problem.

When I bought it it would run for awhile then start cutting out and I would pull over and release some fuel from the rail and it would run great for awhile replaced fuel filter then went for a drive bout 40 miles later at a stop sign it died it srltrarted back up butt died a half a mile away then I checked the fuel rail and there was a little pressure there? Then check the coil wire by a screwdriver to metal and no fire? It has 87000 on it there is plugs hanging that goes nowhere like maybe a motor change butt not sure

it could be the ecm, or crank sensor .

As the guys have said above, it appears to be the crank position sensor, the reason I say this is I just replaced mine today after having similar problems and it appears to have fixed them. Another thing that I did even though it wasn't necessary, was replace the capacitors on the ECM. The reason it wasn't necessary is because it didn't fix the problem.
Autozone has a BDW crank position sensor, that is made by Delphi for 63$ Autozone Part #SU368. I would replace that before the capacitors, because it is a whole lot easier.
Keep chasing those Jeep Gremlins you'll catch them by throwing money @ them.

A quick check for the ECM is to look at your "display" when you try and crank it. If the usual lights flash then the ecm is good, if not, then it is not. I went through this, testing every sensor and relay and they all were checking out good, then after some serious reading I discovered about the ECM and replaced the capacitors and shes been good ever since.
