Carb to tbi, anyone done it.

I have major changes to make to my 87 6 cyl I just picked up. Previous owner cut harness and straight wired everything. Looking for a new harness now and going to try to get that back to stock. At the same time it was brought up to me about changing to a tbi set up. I was wondering who has done it, did you do it yourself, what was involved, where did you get it from and what model etc. and was it worth it. Does anyone have any pics? Thanks in advance for any info.
